Sara is more than a great garment engineer. I am a gal who rarely dresses up and got married at a “mature” age. It took a long time to find a dress that suited me, and I was completely demoralized and regretting my choice after a bridal dressmaker I took it to criticized the dress and told me to return it.  Sara was awesome. Through her gentle and patient encouragement and support, I gradually regained my love for the dress, and my confidence to wear it. Because of her background working for Caroline Herrera, I totally trusted her style, and although she would give her opinions, she always encouraged and pushed me to find and stick to my own style. So in the end, I got married in a dress that felt 100% like me, and that I felt beautiful in. The dress was bought at a sample sale 2 sizes too large and very simple. It had sleeves that looked lovely but that I couldn’t dance in.  Sara had great, stylish solutions to these issues, including hand making a lovely belt, detachable sleeves and engineering the dress to the perfect fit, and adding a beautiful veil.  In the end, the dress fit like a glove, was very comfortable for me to dance in, it, and I felt beautiful in it. She is an exquisite craftsman, efficient and careful but also a kind, calm person who deals very well with nervous brides. I would recommend her with no reservations. “
