“Finding the perfect wedding dress is a uniquely special experience for all brides to be! The shopping process proved difficult for me as I’m only 5 feet and I found myself swimming through most of the sample gowns. I knew that I wanted a ball gown but I didn’t want to be overwhelmed by it. I also knew that I needed something that I could dance in as I love to dance! After trying on literally hundreds of wedding dresses, I decided on the gown that brought tears to my eyes each time I tried it on. Part of the reason I had such an emotional reaction to the dress was because Sara was there to help me visualize what the ball gown would look like once it was cut to my frame, size and proportion. Sara has such a wonderful presence and way of helping brides visualize exactly what a dress will look like on their body. I knew that I had found my perfect wedding gown! Once my actual wedding dress arrived, the wedding salon had a different tailor work with me. Sadly, my dress was torn in the process. I asked if I could please work with Sara and from then on, it was smooth sailing. Sara altered the dress to fit me perfectly…just as I had envisioned! Not to mention that the month leading up to my wedding I continued to lose a few pounds. Sara was very patient and met with me on several occasions all the way up to the week of the wedding to make minor adjustments to make sure my wedding dress was flawless. My dress was strapless and not once during the wedding did I feel the need to tug at the front to pull the dress up. Even our priest said that it was the best fitting wedding gown he had ever seen. On our honeymoon, we participated in the Sposi Novelli so I got to wear my wedding dress a second time when we met the Pope in Rome. I described to Sara the need to cover my shoulders and also stay warm. She was able to create the perfect fox stole to match my gown. Sara is absolutely fantastic and a joy to work with! I highly recommend that any bride work with Sara to alter their wedding gown.”
